Overview
Take an enchanting walking tour in Mysore during Dasara when the city comes alive with pomp and revelry. Starting anytime during the day before 2pm and lasting for 4 hours, it usually takes place during the months of September or October
You may find your guide for the walk dressed in traditional attire. It is believed that in the earlier days, the king invited eminent people from his kingdom to his Durbar. Your guide will take you through the galleries and alleys of the royal courts and Durbar and showcase the different aspects of city.
Also get to learn more about this 600 year old tradition and its significance in the cultural history of the state. Enjoy the procession route and delight in the views of the colourfully decked elephants.
